Edward Choy, Youth Speaker
I was saved at the
age of 20 on May 1st, 1996. My grandparents, Ted and Leona Choy,
had introduced the gospel to me at a young age but I did not surrender
my life to Him until age 20. In Jan of 1998 I went to the Word of
Life Bible Institute for two years. I then completed my degree through
distance education and worked on staff at Word of Life in several
capacities at their youth camp for two years, working at the Bible
Institute dean's department, and serving as Intern to the International
Ministries Vice President for one year. I married Laura Kate Christ
May 26, 2001. We moved to Lanham, MD to attend Capital Bible Seminary
(Fall 2002). Through seminary I served at the Chinese Christian
Church of Greater Washington D.C. as a youth intern, youth minister,
and interim English Ministry. After completing my M.Div. and Th.M.
degrees the Lord led me to the Chinese Christian Church of Germantown,
MD where I am the English Pastor. I am also working on
my D.Min. degree at Dallas Theological Seminary in the area of church
planting, church leadership, and church health. My wife and I have
three boys, Elijah, Ephram, and Emet. We love sports, especially
football (GO SKINS), health & fitness, being outdoors, percussion,
reading, Apple/Mac, and doing just about anything together as a
family.

Dennis Chow, Youth Program Coordinator
As one of Rev. David ChowĄŻs
sons, Dennis has been involved in Christian ministries for a long
time. He lead worship and preached the Word at his high school FCS,.
While attending Penn State University for his management degree,
he was heavily involved with the AACF movement as a small group
leader, prayer coordinator and eventually president. Since graduating
in 2009, God has led him to attend seminary at Columbia International
University in South Carolina, bringing to fruition the call to ministry
that he heard ever since high school. As a 2nd year student, he
is currently working on a MasterĄŻs of Divinity with a concentration
in Bible Exposition. His desire is to help the students to grow
closer in their walk with God, so that in everything, they will
learn to Him and to love others.
